12 Years a Slave

A recent movie I saw was "12 Years a Slave".  This movie was based off a book that a man named Solomon Northup wrote in 1853 during the slavery era.  This book (and movie) was about Solomon being a free black man, but was then kidnapped and brought to Washington to become a slave.  He had no proof of being a free man and for 12 long years was a slave to multiple slave owners.  Chiwetel Ejiofor played Solomon and did a fantastic job portraying the true emotions a person would feel if that were to happen to them.  Brad Pitt was also in the movie.
